Saturday | 1 August 2026 – Wedding Day

Morning & Getting Ready

• 7:00–10:00 AM – Breakfast

  (Rosalia Restaurant)

  Breakfast for all hotel guests, including those staying at Lodomeria.

• 8:00 AM–3:00 PM – Hair & Make-up

  (Rokoko Salon)

  For ladies with a pre-arranged appointment. Please follow your individual schedule and bring cash for payment directly on site.

• 10:00 AM–3:00 PM – Optional À La Carte Lunch

  (Nicolaus Wine Cellar)

  Lunch is available individually at your own expense. We recommend having something light before the wedding celebrations begin.

• From 11:00 AM – Saturday Guest Check-in

  (Main Reception)

  All guests arriving on Saturday, including those staying at Lodomeria, should check in at the main hotel reception.

The Wedding

• 3:35 PM – Meet for the Wedding Procession

  (In front of the château’s main entrance)

  Please be ready outside by 3:35 PM so that we can leave together on time.

• 3:40 PM – Traditional Wedding Procession to the Church

  We will walk together from the château to the church, accompanied by traditional accordion music. The church is approximately 350 metres from the château.

  If you prefer not to join the procession, please make your way directly to the church and arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony.

• 4:00 PM – Wedding Mass & Ceremony

  (Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross)

  The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM, so please take your seats beforehand and silence your mobile phones.

• 5:10 PM – Congratulations, Group Photo & Cocktail Hour

  (Château Galicia Nueva)

  After the ceremony, we will return to the château for congratulations, a group photograph and Cocktail Hour with welcome drinks and light refreshments.

Dinner & Celebration

• 6:15 PM – Traditional Slovak Welcome of the Newlyweds

  A little taste of Slovak wedding tradition to officially welcome us as newlyweds.

• 6:25 PM – Grand Entrance of the Newlyweds

• 6:30 PM – Opening of the Wedding Reception

• 6:35 PM – Blessing Before Dinner

• 6:45 PM – Wedding Dinner

  A four-course dinner will be served. Dietary alternatives will be prepared for guests who communicated their requirements in advance.

• During Dinner – Speeches & Slovak Wedding Traditions

  Including a speech from the groom, speeches from our fathers and a few traditional Slovak touches along the way.

• 10:30 PM – A Tradition for the Single Gentlemen

  Our own alternative to the traditional garter toss.

• 10:40 PM – Sparkler Photos

  Please join us briefly in front of the château for a special photo together.

• 11:00 PM – Evening Buffet Opens

  The buffet will remain available throughout the rest of the celebration.

Midnight Traditions

• 12:00 AM – Čepčenie: Traditional Slovak Bridal Ceremony

  One of the most beautiful Slovak wedding traditions, symbolizing the bride’s transition from an unmarried woman to a married woman.

• 12:20 AM – Vykrúcanka: Traditional Wedding Dance

  Everyone is invited to join us for this traditional group wedding dance.

  According to tradition, it is customary to place a small amount of cash into the prepared hat before dancing with the newlyweds. It is simply a symbolic wedding gesture and part of the tradition.

• 12:45 AM – Midnight Dance of the Newlyweds

  Join us around the dance floor and help us create a magical atmosphere using the lights on your mobile phones.

• 1:00–4:00 AM – Dancing & Celebration

• 4:00 AM – End of the Wedding Celebration

Sunday | 2 August 2026

• 7:00–10:30 AM – Breakfast

  (Rosalia Restaurant)

  Breakfast for all hotel guests, including guests staying at Lodomeria.

• By 12:00 PM – Check-out

  Please check out by noon. Hotel facilities may be used until 3:00 PM. For guests staying at Lodomeria, access to the SPA and swimming pool is available for an additional fee; please ask reception for details.

  The hotel restaurant will also remain available for an individual à la carte lunch.

• 12:15 PM – Bus Departure to Vienna Airport via Bratislava

  Please be at the bus with your luggage no later than 12:05 PM. The bus will depart promptly at 12:15 PM.

A Few Important Notes

• Please be in front of the château by 3:35 PM on Saturday if you are joining our traditional wedding procession.

• The ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 PM. If you are going directly to the church, please arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand.

• The church is only around 350 metres from the château, and we will walk there together accompanied by accordion music.

• Guests staying at Lodomeria will join everyone for breakfast at Rosalia Restaurant in Hotel Galicia Nueva.

• Ladies with Hair & Make-up appointments should follow their individual schedules and bring cash for payment.

• Dietary alternatives will be prepared for guests who informed us of their requirements in advance.

• If you are taking the Sunday bus, please be punctual—the bus leaves at 12:15 PM sharp.
